Dream Cars

Last night, my sweetie came home and told me to go look in the driveway. Here's what I found. My two dream cars, side by side! Sure, I've been driving Jeepy for nearly ten years but I still love my Jeep. Lately though, I've been wishing for something a bit zippier around town. Something a little smaller, faster, easier on the gas, and not quite so much of a Betty Crocker Easy-Bake Oven in the Phoenix summer heat. And naturally, my thoughts turned to MINI Coopers!

Sadly, this '06 MINI Cooper S Cabrio is the rental he got when he dropped CoopahS off for his last free servicing under warranty. (48K+ miles in 20 months!) We were surprised by how much we liked the green roof and the automatic transmission with the paddle shifters. This baby has guts to spare.

Yes, we want to become a two-MINI family. We have two Golden Retrievers, two couches, two tables on the patio, two classic dream cars (Jeepy and the Coug), so why not two MINI Cooper Ss? Okay, so what we really need here is two jobs to make this one happen! Stay tuned.

The only real question is do I want BRG (British Racing Green) or the new special Sidewalk champagne color!
