Musings on Muses

By the way, here is my muse. Lilia gave me both the bottle and the ballerina, who was tied with this ribbon to a package of collage goodies. I didn't think it was fair for such a pretty thing to be in bondage, so I freed her and she was so happy that she leapt onto the bottle and started to pirouette. I froze her there with a little bit of Diamond Glaze. I giveth freedom, I taketh away. She sits on my work table and watches over all I do.

I finished the Mona Goddess pages. Just need to add the back of the page and they're ready to send out! Yes, odd pages for me but it's always good to tread on unfamiliar soil and get out of your comfort zone for a change!

I've nearly finished my Pastel pages for the Chubbyville Pastel Fat Book. Click here for a step by step of how I did it. I call it the Muse of Spring. I think I've achieved a layered look with the stamps and that's what I was going for. Happiness! They need their smears of glitter fro a Stickles and a back and these too may be on their way. Then if I can get the ATCs done and off to Belinda and one lonely page with the theme "corsets", I will be all caught up!

Think of it! I could work on... work! I could even do a piece of art that wasn't going to be sent off into the great unknown as soon as the glue dries. I could make a couple of books that will need to be sent off here soon. Oh, but I rush ahead. And I have something far more urgent to do right now.

Think I'll grab some sleep... but I'll be back, my lovelies!
