Eight Random Things about Me

Ollie tagged me to publish eight random things about myself. So here goes:
  1. People think I am so up front that they know all about me. They don't.
  2. I hate the heat. I've never really liked summer. It always bothered me when I was a kid that we got ten weeks off of school in the worst season of the year. OK, Pennsylvania in the 60s? Maybe Spring was the worst season, hot... cold... wet... who knew what it was going to be like outside except for pretty. Pennsylvania is a gorgeous state when you ignore the cities and industry. So why am I in Arizona? (It's not just the 'other' hot place, it is the hot place!) I came here for love, so I guess I'll have to stay here. I like my life but it's too blasted hot here!
  3. I can be bribed to do lots of things with a venti caramel mocha frappacino light with whip and drizzles. Not anything, but lots of things.
  4. I love animals too. I still miss all my late pets, including my horse, Cheetah, and my mouse, Charley. And Laddie, Timmy, Parker, Blue, Gretel, Brownie, but especially Mr. Jaspy.
  5. I really, really want to "find" my dad's old 1952 MG TD with the beautiful black paint and hand-painted pin-striping. We played "Big Louie" in that car when it was on blocks in the garage. Daddy drove us around in it and we adored it, all of us. We were mad at him for selling it.
  6. I just can't get enough books. I have boxes and boxes of them in my storage space and the bookcases they used to fill are now filled with new books. Did you ever see a house with a library in it and wondered how they filled it up? I wonder how they manage with so few shelves!
  7. I love English history. Not British history, English history. I'm not a lot interested in the rest of the UK, historically. People are always surprised at how much I know about English history too. I wonder why. I like to read biographies.
  8. I love to hear stories about how people met their spouses and how they ended up doing the work they do for the company they work for.

Now who to tag? Honestly, just about everyone I can think of has already been tagged. I tag Dee, and anyone else who wants to tag themselves, just say that The Wabbit tagged you!
