Street Team Crusade No. 12 - Crush!

Michelle Ward has challenged us to reveal our crushes. Ummm... I have so many! It's so hard to choose even a few! But I'm loving these Street Team Crusades, so I just have to do it! I have a HUGE crush on Golden Retriever dogs. This was started by the late Mr. Jaspy (Cocker-Golden mix) and his buddies, Shea-doggie (the real Golden) and Tinker (a Maltese raised by the other two to think he was a Golden!). Now I'm fixated on two Golden calendar boys, Cody and his son, Chance, our very own two Goldens! Cody is 7 or 8 and Chance is 2 1/2. They're so calm and happy, so willing to be clowns, doorstops, footwarmers, puppy pedicurists (almost all Goldens are inveterate, indefatigable foot-lickers). There is no end to their talents. They even keep that Cocker Spaniel next door in line!

I have a big crush on tiny Yorkies too! But I can't get one because Chance killed the Yorkie needlepoint pillow. He's too rough to play with a little dog without supervision.

I have a big crush on Jeeps. I love my Jeepy who is nearly ten. Jeepy is both a car and a person. He is NOT a truck. Not. Get it? Not.

I have a huge crush on my sweetheart, aka the Sports Fan. And I have had one since the moment we met. In fact, as time goes by, it gets worse, despite the sports fandom and the fact that I'm inadvertently immersed in football season. He's cute and sexy and funny. We make each other laugh and he's the smartest person I've ever met.

I have a crush on MINI Coopers. If you want to know why, read the archives. Comfortable, easy to drive, more fun than you can have in a car anywhere but at the drive-in. They're easy on the eyes and the gas gauge while being very sporty, nipping around those twisties smoothly and putting a big smile on our faces. Go CoopahS, go! Can't wait to meet our MzBunny when she gets here.

I have a crush on computers. I love them and can even use two or three at one time. Dells are my faves. I adore both of my laptops, the one for work and the one for play.

I have a crush on color. I love them all. OK, well not brown maybe but I'm working on it.

I have a big crush on Dooney & Bourke handbags. Big time. I can't find shoes that fit easily so I think I take my shoe fetish out on Dooneys. I MUST have them and always wear a Dooney. Always. In the last 15 years, I've had two non-Dooney bags. Really.

I have crushes on two shapes. Rustic hearts and house shapes. I've been leaning towards bird shapes lately too.

And I have big crushes on Michelle Ward, Beryl Taylor, and Angela Cartwright. (I wanted to BE her when I was a little girl - and so was she! - and she was on Make Room for Daddy. Wasn't she just the prettiest little girl you ever saw?) I want to be as creative as they are! I have crushes on my Diva Girls too. My own little group of knitting pals who are just the best ever. They are the most fun, so talented, beautiful, and clever. Ollie, Mel, Kim, Maggs, and our token guy, Dale. You guys ROCK!

And of course, I have a crush on Lou Gramm, the singer in Foreigner. OK, so he used to be the singer. He's not in the band right now, but that could change... again. I never get tired of listening to Lou.

I have crushes on all sorts of things. And now you know about many of them! Yes, you may smile, my lovelies! I have a crush on all of you too!!!
